Be The Light
Eucharistic adoration is the act of worshipping God as He is present in the consecrated Euchartist. Since the Last Supper, when Jesus broke the bread and distributed the wine, saying, "This is my Body" and "This is my Blood," Catholics have believed that the bread and wine no longer merely baked wheat and fermented grape juice, but the actual living presence of the Second Person of the Trinity. Spending time before the Blessed Sacrament, in prayer and devotion, is exactly the same as spending time before the living God. Adoration occurs whenever someone kneels in front of the tabernacle that contains the Blessed Sacrament, genuflects toward the tabernacle, bows before receiving the Blessed Sacrament at Mass, or, in a more focused way, when the Blessed Sacrament is exposed for adoration.
Our long-term Adoration goal at St. Gabriel's is to offer Perpetual Adoration, 24 hrs a day/7 days a week! By God's grace and the intercession of our Blessed Mother, we will get there.
Perpetual Adoration is a Eucharistic devotion where members of the parish unite in taking hours of adoration before the Most Blessed Sacrament, both during the day and throughout the night, seven days a week.
May Jesus present in the Holy Eucharist be always adored and honored. Amen.
Thank you for wanting to join our adoration team! We appreciate your time and efforts in this holy endeavor.

We have several hours that still need to be filled, specifically, ones that have only one adorer. The goal would be to have two adorers per hour time slot.
If you cannot come for a particular week, please find a substitute on your own. You can find a list of potential subs below:
