The Adult Confirmation process is designed for practicing adult (18+) Catholics who have not had the opportunity to receive the sacrament of Confirmation.   This sacramental preparation journey emphasizes the basics of the Catholic Faith through presentations, group discussion, reflection, and prayer.  The sessions will cover Sacred Scripture and Tradition, the Creed, prayer and spirituality, the Church, Catholic social teaching, and the meaning of the sacrament of Confirmation.

 

Requirements for Adult Confirmation Preparation

•    A Roman Catholic adult who has received First Eucharist.
•    A copy of Baptismal Certificate.
•    One must select a sponsor to accompany them in the preparation process.
 

Requirements for Sponsors

•    A sponsor must be a Confirmed Catholic who lives their faith and is willing journey with their candidate during preparation and beyond.
•    A sponsor may not be the candidate’s parent.
