The Parish Life group of ministries are those ministries that have an inward focus to serving the community of parishioners at Saint Gabriel. Each ministry serves a vital role in helping parishioners feel a since of community at Saint Gabriel's and helping them come closer to God through interactions with others as members of the Body of Christ. We invite all parishioners to join in the activities of these ministries as much as possible and to consider volunteering your time and talent to one or more of these ministries.
St. Gabriel's library offers books, videos, DVD's, audio tapes, and CD's for all ages. Its mission is to provide materials that will promote knowledge of, and love for, our Cathlic faith by including only those items that support our Cahtlic beliefs and values. The library is open whenever the buidling is open. Self check out instructions are posted on the bulletin board. For more informaiton please, contact Gail Sohns at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Daughters of Mary
The Daughters of Mary is a very caring group of ladies who give selflessly to assist the needs of the Church. With Mary as their model, they work behind the scenes providing necessary help to those in our community when they are experiencing joy, pain, or sorrow in their lives. If you would like more information, please contact Danita Hundley via e-mail at email@example.com.
The Prayer Chain is composed of members from our St. Gabriel’s community who offer prayers for individuals and families requesting special intercessions. All communication is done via email. For more information contact Nancy Maney at 719-528-8407 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Respect Life ministry supports life issues and educates the parish. It includes participating in the annual Roses for Life fundraiser and the annual Walk for Life. For more information, please contact Angel McGrady through the parish office at 719-528-8407.
On Sundays, following the 8:30am & 10:30am Mass, you will find shared fellowship in the FourPlex rooms where coffee, donuts, and lemonade are served. This ministry encourages a social atmosphere to bring parish members together to socialize and to become better acquainted with other parishioners in our parish and to meet visitors to our Church. To volunteer for this ministry please contact Bobby Gamble at email@example.com.
